Controversial gossip blogger Edgar Obare has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
In a message to his Instagram followers on July 30th, the blogger said he was arrested in the morning while at home by ‘very many’ police officers
“As I said earlier I was summoned by the DCI. Today morning I was arrested by very many officers at my home. Now am headed to Nairobi. Thank you for your undying support.”
The udaku perpetrator has been on the headlines on several occasions this year after exposing celebrity scandals with the most prominent one only five months ago when he got into a fiery exchange with comedian and radio host Jalang’o after he blew the lid on the boy’s club. The blogger claimed that Jalang’o had threatened him.
While Kenyanbulletin can’t confirm why he was arrested, Edgar Obare recently posted visa details that allegedly belonged to Natalie Tewa that contained details like her full government name and date of travel while linking her to having an affair with Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and our bet is that this is why.
Edgar shot to fame when he revealed celebrity Terrence Creative’s affair back in 2019. The blogger is popular for getting receipts (evidence) before he goes live with exposes. Terrence later came out to admit his affair and apologize to his wife.
