A kenyan youth has written to the chief editor of this site accusing Betika of ending a game before time and refusing to refund his Kshs. 3500.
The young man said he had placed a live bet on ov5.5 at 80th Minute with Betika.
At the time of placing the bet, the scoreline was 4-1. So he only needed one more goal before full time, to win the bet.
However, the game was abandoned 3 minutes after he had placed the bet, due to water logged pitch. The obvious thing to do in a such a case is to refund the stake. But Betika didn’t do that.
He called them several times but they insisted that the game was played up to 90 minutes, despite the evidences that he has provided (attached at the end of this article).
He says that this is not an isolated case and that Betika are fond of doing this to gamblers. He and many others accuse Betika of cancelling bets when one is about to win.
‘I placed 3500 on that game. I’m not an isolated case in their conning game. So many people have been complaining that they cancel bets when they are about to win. What’s your advice?’
