How Military Humiliated Sonko After Viewing Moi’s Body

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was on Sunday kicked out of parliament precincts just moments after he had viewed the late retired President Daniel Arap Moi.

Sonko who arrived in parliament draped in a Versace T-shirt had planned to address the press at parliament precincts just like other VIPs were doing, found himself on the wrong side of the Military, who almost roughed him up and kicked him out of parliament premises.

The Governor was not the only person who apparently faced it rough at parliament, his Facebook Live session was also interrupted by the military orderlies who questioned their actions.

The brief event left a bad taste in Sonko’s mouth who had to swallow the humble pie and give his media address outside.

Just before he was kicked out of parliament buildings after viewing Moi’s body, the governor who is currently facing corruption charges in court was together with his entourage was forced to queue like everyone else who had gone to view the body.
