The Centum Investment Company Graduate Program is a one year program designed to develop a pipeline of technically qualified graduates, with a winning attitude and high leadership potential from renowned universities across East Africa. The upbeat employees engage in social activities such as a fantasy football league, playing football every Friday and GP Karting at the end of major projects.How does the recruitment process work?• Application: Application is done through Centum’s careers portal. Candidates are evaluated based on Professional Qualifications attained (CPA, CFA ACCA, CTs …), Undergraduate Degree (Upper Second Class and above), O-level Grade of A- and above. The program screens candidates twice before coming up with the final shortlist. The tests evaluate: mental reasoning ability, numerical, verbal and comprehension, language/literacy skills, speed, accuracy and logic.• Written analytical assessment: These assessments are tailored to different disciplines to test the candidates’ technical knowledge and expertise. Candidates receive a question/case study on email and have a week to research and submit.• Assessment Centre: This series of exercises done over a day to test the candidates’ full range of skills, personal attributes and organizational fit. Can include games and discussions or personal interviews conducted both in groups and individually. Some of these skills include reasoning, teamwork leadership and ethics.• Management and Exco interviews: One on one interviews with department and business heads to assess organization fit.• Psychometric assessment: A test of the candidates’ personality, preferences and abilities to determine where they best fit in the organization• Induction: Successful candidates are on boarded and trained.Centum is a publicly owned investment company with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
