There is an allegation that Kenyatta Family owned Brookside is scheming to grab 7000 acres of land from Delmonte.

Mwangi wa Iria is a corrupt enterprenuer who also has interests in Dairy farming.

Does that explain why he doesn’t want monopoly of Brookside in Murang’a?

Last week, High Court Judge Justice James Wakiaga restrained Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria, his wife-owned firm Top Image Media consultants Ltd and Brother-in-law owned firm Value View Ltd from selling 2 parcel of lands pending investigations by the EACC.

An order prohibiting the Respondents jointly, severally, by themselves, their agents, servants or any other persons from transferring, disposing of or in any other way dealing with properties listed below”, ruled Wakiaga.

In a petition, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission(EACC) sought to block Givernor Wa Iria and Top Image Media consultants Ltd and Value View Ltd, companies associated with him from transferring property in Umoja Innercore  known as Nairobi block 83/14/309. Justice James Wakiaga froze any transfer for a period of six months.

EACC also wants to block him and the companies from disposing or dealing with a  5.6 hectares parcel of in Mweiga known Thungare /block II/Therange parcel number 762.

The court be pleased to issue an order prohibiting the Respondents jointly and severally, by themselves, their agents, servants or any other persons from transferring, disposing of or in any other way dealing with the properties listed below pending conclusion of investigations by the Applicant,” the petition reads.
