The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) has issued a notice to all its first years and postgraduate students to report back to school for face to face learning on 9th November 2020.
“During a Special Meeting of Senate held on November 2, it was resolved that the University reopens blended learning (Face to face and online learning) for first-year students (September 2019, September 2020) & all Postgraduate students with effect from Monday, November 9, 2020,” reads the memo in part.
“All students are required to adhere to the Ministry of Health Covid 19 containment measures.”

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha had given universities the green light to reopen starting October 5, 2020 after a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
