Troubled Wendy Waeni’s manager Joseph Mwangi Nduta also known as Joe Mwangi is wanted by DCI for forging a letter purporting to be from a unnamed cabinet secretary.
It is said that the fake letter was issuing threats to Wendi Waeni’s mother Magdalene Syombua Mbele.
“Mr Joseph Mwangi NDUTA alias Joe whose photos appear below is #Wanted by @DCI_Kenya Detectives in connection with the Forgery of a Letter purporting to be from a Cabinet Secretary threatening the complainant- Magdalene Mbele of some consequences. To report at #DCI Nairobi Area,” wrote DCI on Twitter.
This comes barely a month after Joe Mwangi was accused of swindling Wendy Waeni’s performance fees.
Speaking on JKLive show on Citizen TV, Wendy Waeni revealed that she has never gotten even a penny from her performances faulting Joe Mwangi for pocketing the monies.
