Kibra Member of National Assembly Ken Okoth died this afternoon.
The Kibra MP has been suffering from colorectal cancer had been receiving treatment at a hospital in France for over five months before he came back to Kenya early July.
At his death-bed, the Kibra MP asked doctors to switch off the life-support machine.
The pain in cancer is unbearable and most patients often ask for mercy killing.
Earlier in July, it was reported that former Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore had also asked for mercy killing.
Bob was also suffering from cancer.
