Kenya Tourism Board, KICC Advertise Multiple Job Openings

The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) and the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) are hiring.

KTB and KICC announced the job openings in adverts published in the government newspaper My Gov on Tuesday, January 28. Which jobs did the Kenya Tourism Board declare? KTB’ is a state corporation whose mandate is to market Kenya as a tourist destination locally, regionally and internationally.

KTB invited applications from qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Deputy director, regional market.
  • Deputy director, business tourism and events.
  • Deputy director, digital marketing.
  • Deputy director, partnership, stakeholder management and resource mobilisation.
  • Deputy director, finance and accounts.

How to apply for KTB jobs

The board asked interested candidates to find all the details of each vacancy on its website and apply online. Successful applicants must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution. “Applications should reach us not later than 5:00pm on Monday, February 17,” the advert stated.

Which jobs did KICC advertise?

At the same time, KICC advertised managerial vacancies, asking suitable Kenyans who meet the qualifications to apply by Friday, February 14.

KICC is a state corporation under the Ministry of Tourism responsible for promoting and positioning Kenya as a preferred meeting, incentive, conference/convention and exhibition destination for conference tourism delegates from around the world.

  • Manager, supply chain management.
  • Housekeeping manager.
  • Manager, Information, Communication & Technology (ICT).

“Applicants should email PDF copies of their application and detailed CV with copies of certificates, indicating qualifications, working experience, current remuneration, names of three professional referees and daytime telephone number to [email protected],” it stated.
