Kenyan Driver Drugged, Vehicle Stolen In Kampala

Police in Kampala, Uganda, are in pursuit of a man suspected of drugging a Kenyan driver and stealing his vehicle; Isuzu lorry, REG. NO: KCV 067R, two mobile phones and sim cards.

According to a police report signed by Bujuuko CID boss, the incident occurred at Laston Lodge, Bunyala Village, Muduuma Sub County in Mpigi District on the night of 16th/17th August 2022.

The vehicle’s driver, Kamiti John Nduta, reportedly showed up at the establishment with a man who claimed to be a maize broker there for business.

A few moments later, the alleged customer walked out alone, got into the lorry, and drove away.

Past records identify the suspect as Erickson Kimwei Nyakundi of Kenyan ID Number: 2535186 who is wanted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for previous cases of robbery and murder.

As of the publishing of this post, the man is still outon the loose.
