Today on the dailies, police were probing a case where a 4-month-old baby perished in Kirinyaga while the mother was at her male neighbor’s house partying and enjoying drinks.
The 35-year-old woman was reported to the Kangai police post by the deceased’s uncle over irresponsibility.
The woman, Sarah Waruguru, allegedly left her babygirl and went on a drinking spree since 8 am on Saturday and did not bother to check on her child even once, the woman says they only paused when they had downed all the beers.
