The newly married Kirinyaga county  Governor Ann Waiguru was on Wednesday 28th, mercilessly trolled by her Facebook followers after posting a statement that seemed to be so sensitive.

Ann took to her official Facebook page to celebrate the rejection of Ekuru Aukot’s bill tabled before the Nyeri County assembly.

The Governor said that Mt Kenya region is in full support of Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) and that Aukot’s bill rejection was a prove that Mt Kenya leaders are supporting the famous BBI.

“As I’ve said before, Mt Kenya is fully in support of BBI as evidenced today in Nyeri county where the bill was presented by Ekuru Aukot has been rejected by the whole assembly.”

She went ahead adding that,

“Nyeri county, has set the precedence and all the other counties are likely to follow. These are signs of the times ahead.”

Her statement sparked mixed reactions, her followers  going no-soft on her.

“You were elected because some thought that you were Uhunye’s (Uhuru Kenyatta) side chick, for now just concentrate on giving Waiganjo the assets that he paid for,” wrote one Facebook user.
