Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi and his family are in mourning following the death of his mother, Mama Saado Ahmednoor.
President William Ruto on Tuesday sent a message of condolence to the family of the Senior Counsel and prayed that the family finds strength during the mourning period.
“Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un. I extend my deepest condolences to Ahmednasir Abdullahi, following the passing of your mother, Saado Ahmednoor. I pray for Allah’s grace for you and the family and Allah’s mercy and peace for Mama Saado’s soul,” he said.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale also sent a message of condolences to the family.
The CS said via his Twitter handle that Mama Saado had passed on and shared his message of goodwill to the family during the mourning period.
“On behalf of my family and myself, I send my commiserations to the family and friends of my brother Ahmednasir for the death of Mama Saado Ahmed Noor; his mother and our grandmum,” he said.
“Oh Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom among us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom among us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith.”
Lawyer Ahmednasir was yet to issue a public statement on his mother’s passing by the time of going to press.
