Lawyer Cliff Ombeta Releases Names & Video Of Rogue Cops Killing Suspect in Sh72 Million ATM Heist

“Wycliff Vincent ODUOR. Was shot in cold blood. OCS Olekiti you know why. OCPD Kosgei you know why. The crew in pro box, KCT 818W, YOU KNOW WHY. He tried to plead and even went into a barbershop and was removed from there and shot outside. Ken, rogue cop. You shot him.” Cliff Ombeta posted on his Twitter account.

Yesterday in a tweet, the lawyer claimed the detectives pulled the man from his house and killed in a cold-blooded execution

“This was an execution. Everything else you are saying is a lie. There was no” fierce shootout”,” the lawyer tweeted.

Vincent Wycliff Owuor, an ex-Administration Police officer and mastermind of the Ksh. 72 million Nairobi West Heist was gunned down in a fierce shootout between a 3-man gang and DCI detectives at Kayole Junction in Nairobi, @DCI_Kenya Confirmed the kill on their verified Twitter account.

“The Mastermind in Ksh.72M Nairobi West ATM Heist last year; Wycliff Vincent ODUOR was today gunned down in a fierce shootout between a 3-man gang of Robbery W/Violence suspects & Detectives responding to a distress call from the public at Kayole Junction in Nairobi. Armed with pistols & riding on a motorbike, the three started robbing members of the public at the said location, a scene that attracted the attention of a team of Kayole detectives on patrol. The gang defied orders to surrender, engaging the officers in a fire exchange which left the said suspect down. The other two escaped on the motorbike but are being pursued. A Pistol & a kitchen knife recovered from the slain suspect. Wycliff Oduor aka ‘Vinii’ has been out on a Ksh. 500,000 Bond after his arraignment following the Heist.”

The prosecution sought to block their release noting that the suspects possessed dangerous weapons including firearms and threatened to use violence on the staff during the robbery.
