Man destroys DP Ruto’s hustler narrative

DP William Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has campaigned on the narrative that he comes from a poor family and that he, unlike his competitors, has an unknown (god)father.

In fact, DP Ruto calls himself a hustler and has increasingly identified with those he considers lowly in the Kenyan society.

Ruto has gone around gifting his fellow ‘hustlers’ motorbikes, sewing machines, jerricans, Jua Kalo tools of trade etc, he says this is empowering the youth to be self-sufficient. However, there’s a problem with his hustler narrative. It doesn’t just fit the bill on so many levels.

As a university student William Ruto was scouted and trained by the former President Daniel Arap Moi and as any other person inside the Moi circle, the man built himself up amassing fabulous wealth obviously from having a hand in the coffers.

A viral video on social media has deconstructed the hustler narrative. At one point int he video, the man asks, if all Ruto sees is that Kenyan youth need to be car wash owners, bodaboda riders or tailors.

The video paints the picture of a presidential candidate that thinks lowly of Kenyans, a presidential candidate that sees Kenyans as people only fit for Jua Kali sector and odd jobs.

Williams Ruto wants to be president of Kenya yet in the past 7 hears,he has been the second in command in the most corrupt regime that has failed the youths, has bodly issued empty promises such as the laptop, 2 million jobs, stadiums, and wasted public resource to build a rail to nowhere.

Take a look of the video.
