Mandera’s top KCSE students appeals for financial assistance – KBC

The best candidate in Mandera County in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2020 has asked for support to pursue his studies.

Abdi Kheir, despite coming from a humble background scored an impressive B+ with 72 points from Mandera Secondary School appealed to well-wishers and the government to assist him to achieve his dreams.

Said Kheir is aspiring to become a surgeon.

Said Hassan added that insecurity in the region in the past, which saw a large number of non-local teachers running away, posed a great challenge to them and hindered them from achieving their best in the national examinations.

According to Abdi Kheir’s relatives who saw go thorough his entire secondary school said he was determined and hardworking and are appealing for well-wishers to help him pursue his dreams as the family is unable to see him in university.

Mandera Secondary School Deputy Principal, Mr. Hussein Nuro said Abdi Kheir always topped his class since he joined the school.

The Deputy Headteacher stated that the school has always helped brighter hardworking students achieve their best grades.
