The saga of internet personality Andrew Kibe diving into any and every trending topic continues and lately, he was lashing out against the creatives in the entertainment industry on social media once again.

Kibe’s latest slander online was focused on social media influencers over their performance at the Nyayo stadium on Monday, December 12 during the 59th celebration of Jamhuri day.

The former radio co-host likened their acting to monkeys in a zoo saying; “Did you see boychild acting monkey, running for the President like monkeys in a zoo?” he quipped.

One of the creators featured during the national celebrations event comedian MC Tricky got wind of Kibe’s comments and he quickly took to his comment section where he told to slow down just a bit and disputed the claims.

While clapping back, MCA Tricky told off Kibe saying they earned a lump sum of money (without giving the figures) that he might need to work for six months to earn.

Tulilipwa pesa mingi sana zenye wewe utazipata after six months maybe,” comedian MCA Tricky claimed.

During yesterday’s celebrations, President William Ruto noted that the government is exploring ways of making the benefits of monetization of online activity available to Kenyan content creators on more platforms.

“As we have all witnessed today from the performances that have given us thrilling entertainment, our creative sector is ready with thousands of highly talented and promising youth waiting to seize opportunities to stream high-quality content for monetization.

“We are also exploring ways of making the benefits of monetization of online activity available to Kenyan content creators on more platforms. I have spoken directly to Meta, the parent company of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram, to monetize content for our digital entrepreneurs that will exponentially multiply incomes and create employment opportunities for others. I am impressed and encouraged by the power of monetization and remote jobs. This is the way to the future,” Ruto stated.

Adding;

“If I was not a State officer, I wonder what the content on my small Facebook page, with 2.3 million followers, would earn me daily.”
