SUPPORT FOR KENYANS STRANDED IN CHINA
Saturday, May 9th, 2020
Mua Hills , Machakos

On April 30th, 2020, I received a distress call via email and cell phone by fellow Kenyans who were stranded in China after the global lockdown and the xenophobic attacks that broke out largely targeting Africans because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I listened to those who reached out to me, and I was deeply touched by the anguish they were going through. The Government made a special arrangement by providing an aircraft KQ883 to fly back home the stranded Kenyans but only to those who could afford to cater for their special discounted fares. Due to the situation in China some of them could not manage to raise the cost of the air tickets.

I know my usual critics and political haters will as usual term this as cheap PR and publicity but to ashame them and the devil on 6th, May 2020, in our own small way we sent the air tickets to China to enable those who could not raise the fares travel back home.

I’am delighted to report that a team of ten (10) Kenyans including a 1yr old minor is already airborne to Nairobi. I wish them journey mercies and God willing they will be landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 2:30 a.m. a few hours from now.

Upon arrival, they shall undergo the mandatory 14-days quarantine of which we have also fully catered for before they re-unite with their families.

I wish to appeal to all of us to set aside our political differences during this difficult time we are facing as a country and continue doing the little we can to support each other to overcome this pandemic. God bless Nairobi, God bless Kenya.

Cess Michaels Awwww…..this is so touching! Forget about politics, you are one human being with a Godly heart and for that reason God will always bless you. I was about to ask why they couldn’t use the donated Corona money to bring Kenyans affected by the disease and stranded elsewhere exposing them to more dangerous conditions but let me juz stick to the topic. May God bless you abundantly!
