Ministry of Interior auctioning V8 vehicles at Ksh. 20,000 each

The Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government is set to auction several cars on Wednsday including eight V8 vehicles for Ksh 20,000 only.

The Matiang’i led ministry ran advertisement on local dailies that all vehicles will be sold under public auction at their respective stations.

“The Ministry of Interior and Coordination of the National Government (APS) in conjunction with the appointed auctioneers, M/S Taifa Auctioneers shall sell by public auction all the under listed boarded vehicles at the respective stations and specified dates and times,” read the advertisement in part.

“The document containing detailed information may be obtained from procurement office, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, Administration Police Service, Jogoo House “A”, Room 153 on normal working days (8.00am – 5.00pm) from 5th November 2019, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ksh 500. Payment shall be made in cash at the Administration Police Service cash office at Jogoo house A.

“All interested bidders may view the vehicles at the respective stations from Tuesday 5th November 2019 up to Wednesday 20th November 2019 during normal working hours to verify all the details for themselves as these are neither warranted by the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government (APS) nor the appointed auctioneer,” read the statement in part.

 

“Interested bidders will be required to pay a refundable deposit of Ksh. 10,000/= for all motor vehicles during the normal working hours at the Administration Police Service cash office. Bidders are required to obtain a bidding number after payment of the deposit, which will also serve as an entry pass to the auction yard,” advised the advertisement.
