Miracle Baby: Mwalimu Rachel took everything from Sailors

A former member of the once highly sought after Gengetone music group “Sailors Gang” has frustratedly responded to numerous queries regarding their sudden downfall.

Through a bitter message shared on his Instagram page, musical artist “Miracle Baby” who was a lead member of the youthful boy band angrily claimed that those concerned about their whereabouts are hypocritical fans.

According to him, when the group was involved in a controversial contractual tussle with their management company, many of their so called supporters were nowhere to be seen.

“World mzima ilikua na ikaona tukinyang’anywa vitu zetu zote including: account zetu, doo zetu, deals za mamilioni zikapingwa na mnajua nani aliduu ivo… But ikanyamaziwa,” he ranted.

Perhaps explaining why he’s been away from the music scene, Peter Miracle Baby stated that he is focused on ventures that will help him earn a living.

“Sioni tukisaidiana na maswali za ufala nkt! That’s why naduu chenye itaniletea food kwa meza so uki feel kuuliza swali please nakubeg uezi kosa,” he finished off.

At the time, the Gengetone quintet comprised of Peter Miracle Baby, Shalkido, QoqosJuma, Masilver and Lexxy Yung was one of the promising groups in the country with popular street anthems like Wamlambez, Wainame and Pekejeng.

But then came the pitfall, when the deal with their management team, MRX Media, a company that belongs to radio personality Mwalimu Racheal, turned sour.

The acclaimed radio presenter and social media personality accused the artists of breaching their contract by signing with a different record label behind her back.

In the process, the music group was denied access to their YouTube channel and consequentially, their music.
