Mount Kenya University On The Spot For Registering Many Students Beyond Capacity

Kenyanbulletin.com has learnt that the Simon Gicharu (pictured) owned Mount Kenya University (MKU) has registered students beyond its capacity to handle, putting pressure on the resources at the higher academic institution.

A source at the university stated that the University might have done this in order to fill the gap on the financial woes many of its founder’s ventures such as TV47 and the university are facing.

“Mistreatment of MKU part-time students, Over 5 intakes are being made to share classes in different units. The population in those classes is way too much and it can’t qualify as a good education”, a student wrote

Students have raised the issue with the university’s management but it has fallen on deaf ears.

“Just in your thread note the school has decided to ignore student complains and their focus has shifted from academic-driven to money minting. Most part-time students are having 2 weekdays without classes then 2 on Saturday mind u one is working”, another student stated.
