Mutahi Ngunyi breaks silence on Itumbi’s dissapearance

Political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has broken his silence on the alleged disappearance of digital journalist Dennis Itumbi.

Through a Twitter post shared on Thursday, 23rd December 2021, he cautioned the former Director of Innovation, Digital and Diaspora Communication at State House against joking about serious matters like abduction.

“Do not joke with getting kidnapped, Hustlers are known to eat children,” he wrote in part.

In the tweet, Mutahi reminded Itumbi of the figures that surround him within the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) which he selflessly defends.

The analyst warned the blogger against falling victim to the “fellowship of thugs” in the political outfit linked to Deputy President William Ruto.

According to the consultant best known for his “Tyranny of Numbers” hypothesis, Itumbi is a soft and untested errand boy living among the dangerous hoodlums.

“My friend Dennis, UDA is a fellowship of thugs, And you are a pink thug; soft and untested,” he wrote.

Earlier in the evening, Itumbi’s family claimed that he had been picked up by three unknown persons who whisked him away from a barbershop in Thindigua, along Kiambu Road.

He was then reportedly whisked away in a grey saloon car.

Speaking to the press after the incident, the disturbed kin noted that Itumbi was not in custody at the Parklands Police station as they had been previously informed.

They told journalists that they suspected some foul play in his disappearance and urged the government to release his brother if it is holding him.
