21 youth – 8 boys and 13 girls – were on Wednesday evening arrested in Nakuru after they were found shooting raunchy videos.
The youths, drawn from high schools and universities are members of the same WhatsApp group disguised as a talent bank according to police officers.
On the fateful day, they were holed at a golf club within Milimani Estate in Nakuru against the social distancing directives.
Police are also investigating claims that a German national was behind the pornographic photos which were destined for the foreign market..
“We will prosecute them if they are found culpable because this is against the Kenyan culture, Nakuru East Deputy County Commissioner Elmi Shaffi told Inooro TV.
In the sting operation, Police officers recovered a DSLR camera which had racy raw footage and raunchy photos taken by the German national.
The 21 were carted off to the KMTC quarantine centre where they will be detained for 14 days.
Brian Kamau, the group leader however told Inooro TV that the group is made up of 79 youth who grow each others talents in fields such as music and modelling.
