President Uhuru Kenyatta shocked revellers on Saturday morning at lam when he drove himself in a military Land Rover to Le 63 Lounge, located at Uhuru Gardens. Le 63 Lounge is situated along Langata Road and is rumored to be owned by one of city politicians. The president was accompanied by a group of elite KDF officers in a second Land Rover that parked at the lounge’s gate, all dressed in combat uniforms.
Eye witnesses say, before the president arrived, someone resembling Raila Odinga was spotted in the lounge. The president took about 40 minutes in the lounge before sneaking out without courting any attention. The mission of his visit is clearly unknown, while some rumors are flying round he could have met Raila ahead of BBI Report on Tuesday.
