Detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have arrested Innocent Oundo Sillingi as he attempted to flee to Dubai following a stop order placed by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Headquarters on 24/2/2020.
Acting as a director of Project Capital solutions, Mr. Sillingi obtained over Sh10 Million by falsely pretending he would arrange for letters of credit, discounting of documents facility for suppliers, and credit funding program.
Incorporate in Kenya in 2007, Project Capital Solutions is a company that says is involved in structuring finance for projects to acquire agricultural equipment, medical equipment, manufacturing equipment, construction equipment, energy & aviation products.
Mr. Sillingi is alleged to have abused his office as director of the firm which he has held since 2017 by also claiming he would also finance the supply of both the project and working capital under certain terms and conditions.
