NTSA summons bus owners for ferrying goons in Murang’a

The National Transport and Safety Authority NTSA director-general George Njao has summoned officials of two bus companies to appear before them for ferrying goons who caused chaos witnessed in Kenol, Murang’a yesterday.

NTSA is demanding answers from Neo Kenya Mpya Commuters Limited and Joy Kenya Services Limited whose busses were hired to ferry goons in the chaos that claimed two lives.

Njao said that the summon is per the implementation of the PSV Regulations 2014. He also issued the summons in consultation with the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai who  had directed NTSA to follow up the matter.

DCI also summoned MPs Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu) and Alice Wahome (Kandara) over the chaos staged ahead DP William Ruto’s visit.

IG Hillary Mutyambai had also given a directive that the two should be tracked and arrested immediately for mobilising goons to cause chaos at Kenol yesterday.
