The main suspects in the murder of Nairobi controversial businessman Kevin Omwenga, Chris Obure and Robert Bodo have been granted a KSh 50,000 cash bail.
The duo were charged for misusing a firearm contrary to the fire arms act.
The court heard that on August 21, Obure, a Kisii politician and a licensed gun holder unlawfully allowed Bodo to use his firearm to advance murder.
Bodo on the other hand was arraigned over two counts; possession of firearm without a permit and possesion of ammunition.
They denied the charges.
Omwenga, 28, was shot dead at his apartment on the seventh floor of Galana Suites on Galana Road on Friday, August 21.
The young man used to work as a car dealer for Lystra Motors in Lavington, Nairobi and was paid commissions for his sales.
He was an enthusiast for fast cars and had just acquired a KSh 14 million Porsche Panamera weeks before his death.
