The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has announced that they’ve flown National Super Alliance (NASA) CEO Norman Magaya out of the country for treatment.
The party through their Twitter ODM handle stated that Magaya is expected to spend at least two weeks in a hospital abroad.
‘Our colleague Mr Norman Magaya has left the country for further treatment abroad. We expect him to be away for 12 -15 days. During this time, he will be under the care of a panel of expert doctors. The ODM continues to stand with our luminary through this process until his return’, ODM posted.
Magaya first collapsed and became unconscious during the National Tallying exercise for the general election at the Bomas in 2017.
That incident is linked to his health woes.
‘The Bomas incident is well known to the people who should know; and it is generally understood that it was not natural. Magaya must have been poisoned. Or something more terrible happened there’, Former Communications director of ODM Seth Odongo alias Dikembe Disembe recently wrote.
