Chef Maliha Islam

A Kenyan lady Maliha Islam is on course to beat the Guinness world record for cooking.

Chef Maliha, 36, intends to beat the 68 hours, 30 minutes and 1 second nonstop cooking record currently held by Rickey Lumpkin from California, USA, 2018.

She began cooking roughly 45 hours ago.

Her efforts are sponsored by Fesh Fry oil which is a product of Pwani Oil Products Limited; and televised sporadically on Citizen TV.

The over 400 recipes, both local and international, that she is cooking are being given to destitute children homes.

World Records

The Guinness book of world records is a reference book published annually to document world records both of exemplary human achievements and the extremes of the natural world.
