The meeting saw approximately over 5,000 people attend the function that was focused more on issues of development and security among others.

Speaking to the media, Mutu rubbished the claims saying nothing of that nature has been reported in any station within the constituency.

He noted that there was a stampede at the end of the meeting when leaders wanted to distribute food to the people but it became impossible because of the number of attendees.

“The crowds were uncontrollable, and the area MCA Vincent Obuya decided not to distribute food in the field but later at his own time. When people heard that, they started scrambling for the things that were there but the situation was controlled by the police who were present.”
