Questions linger over the source of cash splashed by political women groups

As 2022 succession politics continue to take shape, women have dived in heightening political activities with a sure radical shift in the landscape. Inua Mama and Jenga Taifa are working round the clock to drum up support for the Deputy President William Ruto as they push for the 2013 deal between Presiident Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto to be honored.

On the opposite is the Embrace Movement that is championing for post handshake deal between Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition Chief Raila Odinga. What raises more questions without answers is the source of money being splashed by the two flying women groups championing succession politics. The two groups have heightened political moves countrywide but their source of funding still remains a mystery.

Embrace in an extension of Team Kieleweke doing doing the round clock campaigns to oppose DP Ruto. Inua Mama on the other hand is pro Ruto,  Mr Money Bag. Reliable sources reveal that Embrace is bank rolled by the ministry of Public Service as part of a wider scheme to stop Ruto from ascending to presidency.

Embrace visited Coast General Hospital in august and gifted mothers with goodies. Something that is not the tradition of Raila Odinga and associates, he is considered as a stingy politician, who would rather collect money from the poor Kenyans than give handouts.

These women groups are known for campaigning in choppers. Inua Mama whose theme colors are maroon and yellow is led by Kandara Mp Alice Wahome and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika. ODM rebel and Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa is on the technical committee together with Wangui Ngirici of Kirinyaga and Uasin Gishu’s Gladys Boss Shollei.
