Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party Leader Raila Odinga has asked President William Ruto to allow experts to audit IEBC servers.

Raila-led Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition who led rallies in Malemba Grounds in Kakamega county insisted that the coalition is pushing for the opening of the servers and an external audit is done insisting that he won the election with a wide margin.

“The servers have not been opened. When I went to the Supreme Court, our lawyers demanded that they should be given access to the servers so that our experts could interrogate the contents of the server,” Raila said.

The former prime minister said the demand was one of the Azimio la Umoja irreducible minimum and it will lead to mass action if the 14-day ultimatum lapses.

The veteran politician claimed that he is sure that if the servers are opened, it will show that he trounced Ruto in the presidential election with over 2.1 million votes.

“We want the servers to be opened and audited by a reputable international company and I can assure you that he lost the election by over 2.1 million votes. If you claim you won, what are you fearing?” he posed.

He said opening the server was one of the demands of their lawyers that was never granted during the presidential results petition at the Supreme Court of Kenya.

Raila’s demands are pegged on a suspected IEBC staff who gave a dossier to the Azimio la Umoja team showing them how the election was rigged in favor of Kenya Kwanza’s Ruto.

According to embattled Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, a whistleblower within the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has shared intriguing evidence of how the electoral agency manipulated votes.

“Most of the manipulation that was done happened within the Mt. Kenya region. The whistleblower is not hiding his identity …the research was done by a non-profit organization that partners with pro-democracy leaders across Africa,” Kioni explained.
