Richard Onyinkwa (pictured), the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Magombo Ward in Nyamira is said to be forcing a road through people’s farms to his palatial home without public participation.
The resident say that the MCA has disobeyed orders and even a court case is currently awaiting determination.
Mr Onyinkwa is said to have hired goons to seal all paths of families that have resisted his ventures.
The road that the MCA is making blocks many homes from accessing the hospital, shops, or police station.
It is said that the MCA has bought off all the relevant authorities in the area.
“We have tried to contact the police and MP to help us in this matters but all in vain. We are living in perpetual fear”, said a resident.
They says they’ve contacted assistant chief Nyambaria, Chief Of Magombo, Assistant County Commissioner Magombo division and the police inspector of the area.

“The MCA who was voted to protect the constitution can not even respect the court order”, one noted.
The residents are appealing to the Central government to intervene, this is a catastrophe in waiting.
