A middle-aged man from Rongai Nakuru has been jailed for 100 years in the case that have been going on since September 2019.
David Karega was slapped with a century jailtearm after he defiled five children in Nakuru County.
The Molo court was told that he defiled them in turns then gave them each Ksh. 10 and warned them against disclosing to anybody what had happened.
Prosecutor Moses Macharia presented 11 witnesses who all testified that Karega had lured the five girls and defiled them.
The convict was hurriedly escorted to a waiting vehicle to begin serving his sentence.
The Sexual Offences Act No 3 of 2006 states: “A person who commits an offence of defilement with a child aged eleven years or less shall upon conviction be sentenced to imprisonment for life.”
Last month, a man who defiled 13-year-old girl was jailed for five years by Rongo law courts.
