The Governor detailed how a young girl from Mikuru Kwa Njenga resorted to doing manual work because she could not afford school fees for Secondary Education despite scoring impressive 416 marks.
Further, the Governor detailed a similar incident when he went for a burial of an MCA in Busia.
He was approached by a young boy who had scored over 360 marks in KCPE but could not secure a chance in secondary education due to school fees.
In particular, the Governor has asked the national government to partner with the county government to help the many Kenyans who are suffering.
This assertion the Governor made despite the recent statement by the government that they had stabilized the economy.
