The Directorate of Criminal Investigation(DCI) has arrested seven notorious Nairobi County fake business permits printers.
According to DCI, the seven have been defrauding both the public of money and the Nairobi County government taxes under false pretence.
Seven suspected fraudsters namely Nahason Wachira Kichera, Peter Njuguna Maina, Martin Mburu Abicha, Susan Wangare Nderitu, Grace N Kimemia, Caroline Wangare Kamau and Faith Awour Okatch were nabbed along Ronald Ngara Street within Nairobi Central Business District.
Assorted items that include mobile phones, tablets, receipt books, two business permits alleged to have been issued by Nairobi City county, two Toyota Noahs Reg No. KBX 516G & KBZ 298L among others items were recovered from the suspects.

This is coming at a time that fraud complaints have been reported by many Nairobi residents.
Over the weekend, DCI nabbed another bunch of fraudsters all aged between 25-40 years who were obtaining money from members of the public by purporting to be giving out Startimes and Safaricom promotions by selling phones and tablets.
