ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna is embroiled in the raging leadership battle at the Nairobi County Assembly.
Weekly Citizen has information that Makongeni MCA Peter Imwatok who was unceremoniously ousted as the minority whip has camped at the Orange house in frantic attempts to bring Sifuna on his side.

Imwatok
All ODM MCAs unanimously signed a petition to remove Imwatok from the prestigious position after he was accused of corruption and other shoddy deals said to be tainting the image of the Assembly.
He was replaced by Nicholas Okumu of lower Savanna Ward.

Okumu
Surprisingly, Imwatok has maintained that he’s going nowhere and was even overheard boasting that he has capacity to bribe Sifuna.
He’s banking his hopes on the fact that Sifuna is a Luhya like and will unlikely resist the bribe.
But on the material day of his ouster, he cried like a small child.
Imwatok is also being investigated after it emerged that a top city lawyer Tom Ojienda allegedly bought him an apartment along Langa’ata road and a prado KDB.
It all started when he pushed for Ojienda’s law firm to be paid a whopping sh50 million in March 22nd.
This was against orders of Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) boss Major General Mohammed Badi and the new governor Anne Kananu.
