Tonight at KonQa 254, Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, who created the global hit “Mwaki,” will perform live.
Music lovers will have an afternoon and night of entertainment, live performances, and football watch parties at the much-anticipated Saturday event.
The Day Party on Saturday will kick off at 2 PM with entertainment from Josax Blaze on the saxophone and Chemical X on the decks, organisers said.
Fans will also be able to watch the FA Cup Final live on giant screens before Sofiya Nzau takes to the stage later in the evening.
Sofiya gained international fame when her collaboration with Brazilian DJ Zerb “Mwaki” went viral across the globe. The song exposed her unique Afro-house sound and Kikuyu lyrics to a global audience.
Organisers promised fans “great music, energy, and unforgettable moments” and billed the event as more than just a night out.
And the fun doesn’t stop on Sunday with the Jukebox Band playing live from 2 PM and an English Premier League watch party to follow.
Later in the evening, the Sunday nightlife session will be headlined by Miss Jojo Global, MC Ted, and a team of dancers.
KonQa 254 is located along the Northern Bypass next to Total Petrol Station, next to Two Rivers Mall. High demand means fans are being advised by organisers to book tables in advance.
