Somali-owned Restaurant Acquires Permits Fraudulently To Build On Government Compound
Teleposta Towers

A businessman named Hussein Dahir of Huska Construction Company is renovating a space at the Teleposta Towers LR No 209/16954  so as to put up a restaurant at the Piazza Area, corruptly acquired renovation papers from City Hall. The building belongs to Kenya Postal Services.

Earlier last week, the tycoon sued the state for stopping him from constructing his restaurant inside government compound.

This is impunity.

Three residents had stopped the restaurant’s construction citing security reasons which prompted the complainant to seek a court order that restrained the regional commissioner, county commissioner and Starehe Division OCPD from interfering with the construction works.

When the officers received the court order from Milimani Commercial Court, they too sought a court order which stopped the construction from going on, but the complainant went back to court saying that his material was being wasted on the ground.

Senior Resident Magistrate Peter Muholi who presided over the interparties hearing on July 24 2019 visited the site in the company of the complainant, the respondents and their lawyers to ascertain if the materials are going to waste.

This case proves the state had indeed been captured and if Hussein Dahir wins it, then it cements that position that this country has really gone to the dogs,.

The building where Mr. Dahir wants to build his restaurant houses government ministries and departments.
