Kenyans are in shock after former Indianapolis Colts player Daniel Adongo shared a weird video while engaging in drugs raising concerns about his physical and mental health.
The former rugby player shared a video of himself looking worn out while smoking marijuana with a pierced nose and wearing multiple chains.
The player is reportedly broke and homeless in the US.
According to reports, Adongo’s downfall came when he was accused of domestic violence.
On October 24 2015, a woman reported to the police that she was afraid of Adongo and did not want him to return to his residence.
Adongo went to the Fishers Police Department where the woman was talking to police officers and said he would not stay at the home that evening.
He also promised to end the relationship with the woman.
The woman indicated that arguments had occurred over the past several months in 2015.
The accusations cost the linebacker playing time, leading his team to waive him one week after the second police call on December 10, 2015.
His team ruled him out of the match against Jacksonville.
Adongo made history when he became the first Kenyan to play in America’s National Football League (NFL) in 2013.
He signed a deal with Indianapolis Colts which was rumoured to be of KSh 216 million.
Adongo moved to South Africa in 2007 to join the Sharks’ rugby academy and played professional rugby union in South Africa and New Zealand between 2011 and 2013.
He then converted to American football, joining Colts as an outside linebacker until 2015.
