Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma Platnumz has disclosed that his ex-girlfriend Tanasha Donna Oketch converted to Islam a long time ago, and even chose a Muslim name for herself.
Esma’s words came after a fan accused her and the Dangote family of forcing Diamond’s baby mama Tanasha to convert to Islam. The fan went ahead to ask if being Muslim was by force.
“Mlitaka Tanasha abadili dini kwani uislam ni by force,” Castgy Aknan.
In her response, Esma said the fan had joined the party too late, adding that Mama Naseeb Juniour converted on her own and nobody forced her.
She mentioned that Tanasha chose the name ‘Aisha’
“@castgyaknan wee ndo ulichelewa kujua mbona kashabadili tena kwa hiyari yake na jina kachagua bi Aisha,” responded Esma.
It is however, not clear what happened between the two (Diamond and Tanasha) and none of them has come out to address the matter.
