The Criminal: The fraudulent Sakaja who wants Nairobi’s top job

Nairobi Senator Johson Sakaja is not a clean man.

Having run on the premise of the triple ‘S’ meaning Super Senator Sakaja, the man whose career prospects, the Nairobi youth had admired, became a snake once in the senate.

Sakaja’s company Shop N Buy was linked with the KEMSA loot.

The KEMSA scandal happened in 2020 when a couple of businessmen and politicians re-routed COVID-19 donations are resold them to the Kenya government and other neighbouring countries.

Shop ‘N’ Buy, a firm associated with Sakaja was paid Sh970 million under the KEMSA Emergency Procurement for Covid-19 programme for undisclosed items/services.

As many Kenyans languished in hospitals for lack of oxygen due to the various respiratory diseases, Sakaja’s bank account was full of money and all he thought of was to party away in total disregard of the COVID-19 protocols. In short, the COVID-19 looters are murderers.

By the time Sakaja was defending himself after a parliamentary committee exposed his firm, the horse had already bolted.

“I was chairman of Covid-19 Ad Hoc committee. I have no links with Shop N Buy. I’m neither a director nor shareholder there,” Sakaja said.

Now that he is running for Governor, Sakaja is not a person to be trusted with leadership again.

His life is even more fraudulent; he is masquerading as a Luhya yet he is a Kalenjin.

This is the third of THE CRIMINAL article in the series. Sakaja has been exposed and must be rejected in totality.
