The first casuality at IEBC after the 2022 elections is a luhya lady, Ruth Kulundu.
Ruth before her promotion to be IEBC deputy Ceo has been working as a Returning officer in Siaya County where she is said to have fallen in love with Odingaisim.
During the Bomas tallying, she’s said to have been working with the four disgraced commissioners.
Despite being a bukusu like Chebukati, she is said to have been spying on him and releasing info to Raila and Azimio.
Today she has been suspended from IEBC and stands accused of several things including gross insubordination.
Ruth Kulundu schooled at Bishop Njenga Girls High School. By then she was Ruth Songa in the mid 80s
She met and fell in love with her teacher going by name Kulundu who was a young man fresh from University.
Ruth sat A levels in 1987 but failed to get the university cut off mark. With help of her teacher and lover, Mr. Kulundu she repeated form 5 and 6 and sat for exams in 1989,
By then Alevel students were mature and relationships or marrying teachers was not an issue.
Ruth Songa, then joined Lower Kabete Campus, UON. While in college she changed her name to Kulundu after getting married to Kulundu, who is currently an Economics lecturer at UoN.
Its unfortunate she fought and betrayed her brother, tribesman Chebukati for the Luo guy from Bondo.
