Activist Boniface Mwangi has been acting strange these days. This is why

Over the course of a few months since April 2021, Boniface Mwangi seems to have lost his way.

The focussed Team COurage leader has made many surprising changes to his life and routine.

Pay close attention to the month of April, for Pied Crow the story teller will narrate why it is an important month in the turn of events in Boniface Mwangi’s life.

Moving on, Boniface Mwangi resigned from Ukweli Party in August , saying that he needs to spend more time with family.

In a long post, Mwangi also told Kenyans that he is no longer interested in being the people’s watchman as it is draining and that Kenyans must learn to put their elected representatives to task.

Mwangi recounted his experience when he vied for a political seat in 2017.

“For the sake of my own healing and for the sake of peace of mind, I want to be able to say that I won’t be vying for the next year’s election,” Boniface said.

In the video posted on his social media pages, Mwangi said Kenyan politics are decided by money, which he said is the reason the country ends up electing the wrong people for the job since the good ones hardly go through the process.

Since August, Mwangi has been acting like a child throwing tantrums, but let’s remember that any PR is good PR.

Ukweli Party, which was founded on ideals of justice, and anti-corruption seems to have buckled under the wait of lack of money. Political parties need money and without a good purse, they are as good as a student’s organisation in high school.

But what really happened in April?

April 6th 2021

On April 6th, 2021, another Activist Mutemi Wa Kiama was arrested for allegedly making a poster that trolled President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto.

In the poster that was made in the fashion of a company announcing the sacking of a rogue/thieving employee, Kiama allegedly asked the international community not to advance loans to Kenya.

The Back story

The backstory to this activism was that a consignment of huge sums of money meant for the Ukweli Party camaraderie of activists was tracked and confiscated by the Central Bank of Kenya.

Since then the deep state near the Presidency has frustrated any efforts by the activists who include Bniface Mwangi, former CJ Willy Mutunga and Kiama etc to get any money.

Mwangi on his part has gone to lengths to create commotion so that ‘he can be seen’.

The recent spat with a GSU officer and a NMS official and KRA officers is just one of those stunts where Mwangi is going back to his roots f agitation by physical force, not online has he had done for a couple of good years.

Although their work in demanding justice for Kenyans is commendable, Kenyan Bulletin has tried to give you the story behind the recent behaviour by Mwngi.

Boniface Mwangi is looking for a new entry into getting donor funds as the wells of George Soros have dried up or shut.

CJ Mutunga’s stunt of trying to bring Miguna Miguna back home is just one of those stunts that will attract international attention and might get the taps running again.

The money confiscated by CBK was about Sh7 million and was meant to fund UNLOCK OUR COUNTRY among others.
