Eveline Atieno and the twins have drowned in River Yala where they had gone to wash their clothes.
Confirming the incident, Mileng’a assistant chief Austin Bunde said Atieno’s husband came home and found the trio missing.
Upon inquiry, he was informed they had gone to wash clothes at the aforementioned river.
The man went to the river but only found the clothes that they were washing. He could not trace his wife and the children.
After a while, the man and other relatives, who had already gathered at the river bank, learned that one of the twin’s bodies had been recovered from across the river.
