Uproar In Wa Iria’s Usawa Party Over Irregular Ticket Issuance

Usawa Kwa Wote Party Leader Mwangi Wa Iria

Supporters of Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wairia’s Usawa Kwa Wote party have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the recently concluded ticket issuance exercise which they say was a total scam.

In Kajiado County, there have been heavy grumbles from followers of Kajiado North MP aspirant PC Chege whom they claim was unfairly kicked out of the race for failing to fork out a mandatory Sh300k bribe.

In Kiambu County, voters allied to Usawa in Ngewa Ward rejected the unfair fronting of Nancy Wangari Chege as the party’s candidate for the seat.

They insist the lady was not their choice and that she acquired the ticket through backdoor means at Usawa Headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.

Insiders privy to the developments have reliably informed this site that Ms Chege is reportedly a foreigner who was born and raised in Kirinyaga County.

There is a strong feeling among locals that she is not even conversant with the area’s geographical distribution, leave alone their issues that need urgent addressing.

“Mwangi Wa Iria and his fraudulent Usawa party are a scam.

They are selling the tickets to aspirants.

Kajiado North MP Aspirant PC Chege out for failing to pay 300k.

This lady is from Kirinyaga she bought my ticket from the party HQ in Lavington.

She doesn’t even have a clue how my ward is nor is Kiambu county.

I exhausted my efforts selling the party to the people of Ngewa ward as MCA aspirant.

The party officials are corrupt.

Many are going independent now,” one source told kenyanbulletin.com
