City actress Dorea Chege has become the latest in a string of Slay Queens who have declared their interests in politics.
The socialite who rose to fame for her role as “Maggie” on the stale Kenyan drama series “Maria” recently revealed she plans to contest for the Nairobi Women Representative seat in the August polls.
From a video doing rounds on social media, Ms Chege has alleged to have received threats from unknown persons following her announcement last week.
But in the clip, the noisy lady affirmed her supporters (whether real or imaginary) that she will not back down from her push to become a leader in Nairobi county.
Without sharing any specific agenda or ideology, she sarcastically kept pointing at the camera and kept mumbling that she is not a coward.

Ms Chege will likely face off with the likes of incumbent Esther Passaris, her fellow socialite Betty Kyalo, Rachel Shebesh, Millicent Omanga and Instagram model Aliiptisam Ali alias Arab Princess who is seeking a nomination ticket from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
