Yesterday a truck transportating LPG gas bursted into flames along Mai Mahiu.
Several people were burnt by the LPG and others injured and rushed to hospital for advanced medical checks.
More than seven cars were razed to ashes in what is now probably negligence in an industry that is supposed to be the safest.
According to a tweet by a fan account of senior blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, LPG cartels carelessness is something that needs to be sorted.
“Long-distance gas transportation is supposed to be transported using certified & designated bulk gas transportation tankers and not enclosed trailers. The Mahi Mahiu issue is a very serious matter and the owners of the trailer must pay for this. Is it the usual pro-gas suspects?” Nyakundi shared on Twitter.
