The video doing rounds on the interwebs of ODM leader Raila Odinga commenting on the issue of the missing security analyst Mwendwa Mbijiwe is not doctored.
But the ODM Party leader, Raila Odinga was not speaking about the missing analyst but his-the missing Mwenda’s late father Mzee Mbijiwe?
Blogger Dennis Ole Itumbi didn’t see Raila’s interview on Weru TV and therefore slept in the class of Propaganda needs a certain amount of listening and wisdom
In the video, Raila Odinga is definitely referring to Mzee Mbijiwe, a long-time friend who died. He believes the problem of Mwenda Mbijiwe must be resolved as soon as possible and that he would address it with the President.

But, who is Mzee Mbijiwe that Raila Odinga is talking about?
Mwenda’s father was not called Mbijiwe. He had a stepfather called Stephen Nkonge. Mwenda was born of a simple family. Do not assume he was the son of the late Minister, Kabeere M’Mbijiwe who comes from South Imenti. Mwenda’s family are from Buuri.
On Friday, October 14, speculation was widespread when Mwenda Mbijiwe, a missing former Kenya Air Force officer and security officer, quit WhatsApp groups.
The ex-officer, who went missing on Saturday, June 12, under strange circumstances, has yet to be discovered. A snapshot circulating on social media, however, revealed that Mbijiwe had left a number of WhatsApp groups using his last known telephone number.
Mbijiwe is a well-known television commentator and security consultant. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Eye on Security, a security consulting firm.
The TV expert was on his way to Meru County to see an ill relative when he vanished.
On the day Mbijiwe went missing, a local businessman, Edward Mwangi, who had loaned his automobile to him, attempted to reach him. His efforts, were however futile after Mbijiwe never responded and his phone later went off.
Through the vehicle’s tracking device, Mwangi affirmed that he traced the car to Kasarani on the morning of Friday, June 18, and later on the device indicated the car was in Kahawa West.
