Uhuru Kenyatta and Hassan Joho laugh uncontrollably after Martin Wambora misplaced speech at the national launch of Universal Health Coverage

Members of County Assembly (MCA)s from Embu have unleashed their rage on County Governor Martin Wambora’s Personal Assistant for apparently causing national humiliation to his boss.

The Ward Representatives led by Muminji MCA Newton Kariuki have called for the immediate permanent dismissal of the aide behind the misplacement of Wambora’s speech at a government event graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

According to the leaders, the governor’s personal assistant is directly responsible for organising and carrying his documents and he should therefore be held accountable for his grave and unprofessional mistake.

The issue of the misplacement of Governor Wambora’s speech made its way to the floor of the County Assembly for the second day as MCAs contributing to different motions kept bringing it up.

Responding to the matter, temporary Speaker Phillip Nzangi (Makima) acknowledged that the County Boss, being the Chairman of the Council of Governors, is a high-ranking and composed leader who does not deserve to be put through such humiliation.

Nzangi additionally noted that Wambora’s personnel ought to have made sure that he had all the documents he required for such an event.

When addressing the gathering on Monday, Wambora only realized he had the wrong speech with him as he commenced delivering his remarks after dispensing with protocols.

Wambora’s realization that he had the wrong speech with him sent President Kenyatta and the guests at the event held in Mombasa into uncontrollable laughter.
